The OpenSEF Team is proud to announce the release of the first real optimized Version for Joomla! 1.0.x.

OpenSEF will automatically create SEF URLs for your Joomla site and will also allow you to fully customize your URL addresses manually for complete control.

OpenSEF is a Joomla component that allows you to fully decide how your content will be visible to search engines and web surfers by manually mapping your site structure how you see fit.

OpenSEF provides a well integrated user-friendly interface that lets you decide exactly how to best map an internal Joomla URL into a publicly available "friendly" address. It takes guesswork and the computer out of the equation and puts you in control.

The component is designed for Joomla 1.0.x running on the Apache web server. Best of all it is open source, no strings attached, now released under the GNU General Public license (GNU GPL).
